Calla is an adults-only AI companion service operated by Prismatic Enterprises LLC (“Calla”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it. By using Calla you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Adults only

Calla is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it. See our Safety page for our age and crisis policies.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account. Your email address and how you sign in (a magic link, a password, or Google or Apple sign-in). If you use Google or Apple, we receive a basic identifier from them, not your password.
  • What you create. The messages you send, the companions you make and how you tune them, images generated for you, and the memory we derive from your conversations so your companion can remember you. Persistent memory is the core feature, so this content is stored with your account.
  • Payments. When you buy coins with cryptocurrency, our crypto payment processor gives us a receiving address and transaction id. When you buy diamonds in a store app, Google gives us a purchase token we verify. We never receive or store your card number, bank details, or wallet keys.
  • Usage and device. Your IP address, browser and device information, time zone, the features you use, and diagnostic logs, used to run, secure, and improve the service. The anonymous on-site demo records a short-lived session (including IP and the messages typed) for abuse prevention and analytics.
  • Notifications. If you turn on push notifications, a subscription identifier for that browser or device.

How we use it

To provide the companion experience and its persistent memory; to keep you signed in; to process purchases; to send service email such as sign-in links and receipts; to keep the service safe (rate limits, abuse prevention, and the legally required screening for self-harm and content involving minors); and to fix problems and improve the product. We do not use your private conversations to train public AI models.

AI processing of your messages

Calla is powered by AI. To generate replies and images, your messages and prompts are sent to the AI model providers that run our language and image models. They process this content to return a result for you. Your companions are fictional and AI-generated; their messages are not statements of fact or professional advice.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make Calla work, and only as needed:

  • AI providers that run our language and image models (to generate replies and pictures).
  • Email (to send sign-in links and receipts).
  • Payment processors: a cryptocurrency processor for coin purchases, and Google Play for diamond purchases in a store app.
  • Hosting and securityproviders that host the site and backend and protect against bots and abuse.
  • Sign-in providers (Google or Apple) only if you choose to use them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Discretion

We keep your use of Calla private. We do not post your activity, your companions, or your conversations anywhere public, and we offer a cryptocurrency payment option so a purchase need not appear on a card statement.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete individual companions and their memory at any time inside the app, and you can delete your whole account by emailing us at the address below. When you delete your account we remove your conversations, companions, and generated images, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, security, or payment obligations.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify the request against your account and respond within the time the law requires. We do not sell or “share” your personal information for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember settings, and attribute referrals for up to 30 days. The anonymous demo uses a bot-protection challenge. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Security and international transfers

Traffic is encrypted in transit and access to data is restricted, but no online service is perfectly secure. Calla is operated from the United States and the European Union; by using it you understand your information is processed in those locations.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear before they take effect.
